Service Description
Most dogs require a daily walk for a balanced and healthy lifestyle. If you have a busy life or work long hours you might be having a hard time keeping up with a daily dog walk routine. A regularly scheduled walk can assist with meeting your dog’s needs, ensuring that they are getting the daily exercise they require so they’re happy and content when you arrive home. PRICING • 30 minute walk - $35 • 1 hour walk - $50 • Additional dog(s), same household only +$5.00 per walk INCLUSIONS • Walk times include the time I enter your premises to collect your dog(s) to the time that they are returned to your property. • Dog waste bags are provided. • On hot days dogs will have access to water throughout walks. • Dog treats are provided during walks (with owner’s consent). • An SMS upon completion of each walk is sent for your piece of mind.
Booking Policy
• Prior to booking your dogs first walk I recommend arranging a meet and greet, this gives me an opportunity to get to know you and your pet in person. You will be asked to provide details about your dog including behaviour and health information, also emergency vet contact details which will be carried on all dog walks as a safety precaution in the unlikely event of an emergency. • All dog walks are one-on-one (i.e. no group walks - only dogs from the same household) to ensure that your dog receives personalised attention, is walked at their own pace and the walk is tailored to suit their needs. • Dogs will be walked in all weather that they are used to and comfortable with, but will not be walked during thunderstorms or in extreme heat. If inclement weather is forecast I will discuss with you the best option for your pet prior to the booking commencement. On rainy days you will have the option to still go ahead with the walk (I'll pack a large umbrella & towels to dry off afterwards), or alternative forms of physical exercise can be provided such as indoor or undercover play. For indoor dogs who don’t like getting their feet wet I can pop around to let them out for a toilet break, followed by cuddles and company. A refund can also be provided, or for regular clients we can move the walk over to the following week. • During walks dogs will be kept on their leash at all times. • Dogs must have a secure leash/harness provided by the pet owner. • All bookings must be paid prior to the commencement of service or at the time of the booking unless otherwise arranged. • Payment can be made with Visa, Mastercard or AMEX through PayPal or by bank transfer. • Cancellations are accepted where at least 24 hours notice is provided. • Full payment of the scheduled walk will still apply if the dog(s) are not available/present/unable to access (owner accidentally locked gate etc) at the agreed day and time for the walk.
